Today the first thing I did was cut more of the wedges for the 6 inch bowls - the piece of walnut that had 1/8" layer of oak on both sides. You'll see it in the second picture below - clamped as the glue dries.
Next, I got the first 7 inch bowl to receive its second ring. That's what the video below shows...

DAY SIX - JULY 3, 2024

Yesterday, today and tomorrow are filled with repetition: Glue on a ring. Let the glue dry. Smooth the outside and inside to a basic shape. Flatten the edge so it is ready to receive the next ring. Repeat, repeat, repeat. But tomorrow, the last two rings will be glued to the base of 6" bowl #3. Which means next week I can start to give each rough-shaped bowl its final form.
